That’s life (that’s life) That’s what all the people say You’re riding high in April, shot down in May But I know I’m gonna change that tune When I’m back on top, back on top in June
The axe finally fell on me this morning. After several years, I was laid off due to downsizing, or whatever.
The timing for these things are never ideal, but given that we’re a week out from our move, this one particularly sucks.
We’ll see what happens next. For now, we pack, ready our bags, and stick to the plan. May June find us back on top, indeed.
